What a shocker-- I'm actually taking a "Mini Vacation"!! My Mom is forcing me into it!

OK, please--no fainting or applause---, but guess what??  I'm actually out of town as I write this, taking a "Mini Vacation" with my lovely 81-year old Mom, who is visitng from Omaha!!!  Mom decided that I HAD to have a couple days off, after the all the tough things that have been going on in my life & she decided the ONLY way to ensure that would happen is to physically drag me out of town--(even though I'm sooooo sick!!).  What can I do--would YOU be able to say no & disappoint your 81-year old Mom???  Well, I couldn't, so here we are. (The other alternative was to take one of those 3 day cruises out of LA & there was NO way I was up to that right now, so this was a good compromise!!)

We're in San Diego for a few days.  It's the perfect destination spot because it's actually close enough to drive, but just far enough away from home, so I can't run back and forth, or work around the clock (as usual) !!  Thank goodness I didn't have to drive any long distance to get here, or we wouldn't have made it (OMG, I HATE to drive!)!! I did bring my laptop, but I'll likely only be checking mail once a day!!

So please be prepared, because I'll likely only be responding to emails once a day as well!!

I'll be returning to work on Thursday morning, 12/3/09. Any invoices paid, or purchases made using the BUY NOW Buttons before I return should get shipped out to you on Thursday!!

Have a great week!!

Update to this post:  Well, my luck--I got even sicker while on vacation & developed bronchitis, which has now turned into walking pneumonia.  I swear to God, I'm so unlucky--I think I'm the only person I know who gets punished for actually taking a couple days off, LOL!!! (rolling my eyes heavenward!!)

  1. I was very pleased with my transaction with Glenda. Even though an error was made, she leaned over backward to make things 'right" She treated me VERY fairly. The little extra surprises in the order were delightful.

Cricut Markers using "Glenda's Marker Method"-Videos!

Do you want an easier & more precise way to use your Cricut Markers? For those of you who never saw my post waaaayyy last year on the Cricut MB outlining how to use my "Glenda's Cricut Marker Method", I finally taped some videos back in February (2009), but sadly, they were part of a group of Cricut videos I'd done that somehow disappeared off my hard drive. Then, after I recently did a "disk defrag" they magically reappeared, which was a THRILL!!!! So I finally got them edited & loaded up to YouTube. There is a "short" version of the Tutorial, which only talks about using the markers (using my "method", which does differ from the manufacturer's directions!) & shows how to change them, etc. Then there is an "extended" version, which is a 3-Part Tutorial that not only demonstrates how to use the "Glenda's Cricut Marker Method", but also gives some other "Hints & How-To's" in typica
