I thought I’d better get back to blogging and finish telling all of you about my CHA highlights, after needing a few days to recover from being on my feet for 4 days!! Let’s start with Provo Craft – Cricut, Cuttlebug & more:  Here’s what new & fabulous:  Can I get a Halleluiah??  FINALLY—they are releasing a new version of the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 Cricut cartridge (TBBM2) , which IMHO is a “have-to-have” cartridge for every Cricut user!  They’ve done some very smart things with this updated version, including having the optional ability to have some of the boxes cut out in 2 pieces (that you can then tape together), which means you can make much larger versions of those boxes than if you could only cut it them in one full piece!!!  WOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!  But hold on Cricuteers, there’s more!!  They are also releasing a SCORING BLADE that will work with this cartridge and selected others in the future!!  In other words, many of the ...

Here's the BIG NEWS:   The very busy "Cricut Event/Special Project" I've been involved with over the past couple months is that I filmed a TV INFOMERCIAL for Cricut / Provo Craft that will be airing on all the major network stations. Please watch for it!! It was the experience of a lifetime and I will be forever grateful to have had the privilege of being involved with it! I just saw that Teresa Collins had posted on Facebook about it, so I doubled checked with the production company and they said it's OK to post this info now, so now you know!!! The production company that Provo Craft very wisely hired to shoot this infomercial was Raymond Enterprises and let me just say they were an absolute dream to work with from start to finish.  Every single person I came into contact with from Raymond Enterprises was unbelievably professional, amazingly grounded and every one of them made me feel like a million bucks! OMG!!  I was soooo happy when I saw all the new Cricut cartridges that were released this week!!!  Because I’m a proud member of the Cricut Circle, I got to see them a day early on  “Hello Wednesday”, when Provo Craft posts them to the members-only Cricut Circle Blog.  But now that it’s Thursday, they are all listed for public view on the “Hello Thursday” section on the Cricut.com site on the Shopping tab . Of course I was THRILLED to see another new Imagine cartridge (I just wished there would have been more of them for the Imagine in this release!!)!!    It’s the Cricut Imagine ® Art Cartridge, “Greeting Cards Inside and Out” and it’s filled with birthday invitations, thank you cards, birth announcements, engagement and wedding announcements, and cards for all sorts of occasions.  Not only is it going to make it quick and super easy-peasy to make all sorts of cards, but I also absolutely LOVE all the new Imagine papers on this cartridge!!...

Well, here we go again-it's already time for CHA! Hardly seems possible, since it feels as if we barely just finished up with everything from the last CHA last summer! I absolutely LOVE the thrill when we first see the hottest new products unveiled (the ones that have been kept "under wraps" until they debut at CHA!!). I especially look forward to everything involved with the Provo Craft events, from their fabulous set-ups within their exhibit space on the Convention floor, to the always fabulous party they have for us Retailers. Now, it's no secret that I am a huge Cricut fan, but even though I do favor and sell their products, I don't think anyone does CHA BETTER than Provo Craft!! Hi Everybody!! Greetings from a very muggy (and now under a severe thunderstorm warning) Chicago!! I am at CHA and trying to look at all the new goodies for all of you!! It seems like only yesterday when I got my first baby Cricut from QVC (during their first launch!!) & the cartridges that were included--George & DoodleType. That was 2006 !! And now, as we're winding down 2009 , Cricut is celebrating its 100th cartridge --yes, I said 100 !!! First let me say I’m sorry I’m late getting this posted for you. To make a very long story short, my car was involved in a fire while it was in the mechanic’s shop (minding its own business getting a tune-up!!) on Jan 20th & I’ve had to take on a full time job fighting with a lot of incompetent insurance folks ever since, just to determine the fate of my car (which was stuck up on the mechanic’s lift with no wheels when the fire started on the ground below). Because the fire was raging & had plenty of fuel around it, the firemen had to shut off the electricity to the building while fighting the fire, so my car’s been stuck up there on the lift until late last Fri, Jan 3oth, when it was finally towed late in the day to my insurance’s mechanic/body shop). So, because I’ve been just trying to get people to actually do the jobs they should have been doing, I’ve been tied up, not to mention stressed out, which is making me truthfully physically sick!!! I'm back!!! Sorry I've been remiss & haven't been posting, but it's been quite a busy few weeks. This week, I've been at the CHA Winter 2009 Convention (Craft & Hobby Association) checking out the new products being introduced for all of us crafters. Of course, the moment the show opened, I ran straight for the Provo Craft booth to see what else might be new & exciting in the Cricut product line, but there was still only the sampling of images (just a few pictures) for each of the new cartridges. Believe it or not, they STILL don't have anything for us to see that would show us all the images on each of the new cartridges. Personally, that was surprising to me, as it seems to me that it would be difficult to get retailers to place pre-orders for cartridges when they don't even know what those cartridges consist of in full!!
