Proud Parents of Another College Graduate!

Well, we’re on our way right now to watch our youngest son, Shawn, walk across the stage to get his college diploma.  We are extremely proud of Shawn, as he has worked very hard to accomplish this goal. This is now #2 of 2 of our sons who are now college grads.  It makes me think that we must be doing something right, LOL!! And although we are extremely proud of Shawn and his older brother, Matthew for both graduating from college, as a parent, this day is a little bittersweet, because we’ve raised them and I feel as if it was our job to get them to this point, but now that our “baby”is graduating from college, I’m not quite sure what my “mom” job is now!  We have a busy early summer this year, starting with Shawn’s College Graduation and then in just over a month from now, our oldest son, Matthew is getting married. WHEW!!!

Please keep us in your prayers--family emergency

I had to travel to Omaha, NE today for a family emergency.  My 81 year old Dad is having surgery in the morning to repair 2 aneurysms that were discovered. Please keep us in your thoughts & prayers. Any orders placed during my absence will be shipped out after I return. I hope to return about Jan. 5th or so, depending on how things progress here. Because I will be spending the majority of my time in the hospital, I won't always be able to return your emails right away, so I'm asking for your patience and understanding while I'm away.  Your business means everything to me, so please know that I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for all of your business in 2010.  I appreciate it more than I can ever say.  I look forward to helping all of you again in 2011.  I wish you and your loved ones a very Happy New Year.

Thanks for all your good wishes & prayers! It's been a rough few weeks for our family!

I wanted to publicly thank all of you who have sent me your kind words, good wishes and prayers for our "special" son, who'd been hospitalized for a good while. It just isn't possible right now for me to thank each and every one of you who have emailed me or called my business phone to leave your very encouraging messages, so please allow me to use this public forum of mine to let you know how very much I appreciate all of you.  You have truly touched my heart. It's been a very scary time for our family, especially not knowing all of the "why" of what led up to everything, because the one person who could give us all those answers, can NOT give them to us, because due to his disabilities, he can not speak.  We know he was hurt while out with his special day program where he apparently took a bad fall.  We know it was not reported to anyone until bruises and then huge hematomas were found all up down down his lef...
