OK, here I go!!! My very first post!!!

Well, after wanting to start a blog for quite some time now, I've finally taken the very first "baby step". I did it!!! I registered the name & now I'm actually posting for the first time. My hope for this blog is for it to be a happy place for me to share with other crafters my ideas, projects & any tips that I've learned along the way that may help others. I know I have a long way to go from here. It will likely take me several weeks to really get this blog "tweaked" to look the way I'd like it to (first thing I need to learn is how to change the color & setup of these blog templates, yikes!!), not to mention to start adding "real" content, images, tutorials, etc. (Plus, I still need to clean the disaster I created in my scrap room while making all my holiday projects, whew!! I can't really make any videos in here until I manage to find the top of my desk, LOL!!!)

I hope you will all bear with me as I get up to speed, learn about this new medium of blogging & how to tailor it not only to my needs, but also to yours.

Finally, I hope that when I get it going in the right direction, it will a place that you will like to visit & a place that may occasionally inspire you!!! Any suggestions or ideas, please don't hesitate to post comments, so I may learn!! Wish me luck!!!

My journey is just starting with a craft room remodel but hopefully soon I will be able to start showing some of the things I make. Loved the video of the Yudu. You did good!! Cricut Markers using "Glenda's Marker Method"-Videos!

Do you want an easier & more precise way to use your Cricut Markers? For those of you who never saw my post waaaayyy last year on the Cricut MB outlining how to use my "Glenda's Cricut Marker Method", I finally taped some videos back in February (2009), but sadly, they were part of a group of Cricut videos I'd done that somehow disappeared off my hard drive. Then, after I recently did a "disk defrag" they magically reappeared, which was a THRILL!!!! So I finally got them edited & loaded up to YouTube. There is a "short" version of the Tutorial, which only talks about using the markers (using my "method", which does differ from the manufacturer's directions!) & shows how to change them, etc. Then there is an "extended" version, which is a 3-Part Tutorial that not only demonstrates how to use the "Glenda's Cricut Marker Method", but also gives some other "Hints & How-To's" in typica...

Finally-Here's all the Cricut News from CHA!! New 2009 cartridges, Design studio, Rewards Program, etc.

First let me say I’m sorry I’m late getting this posted for you. To make a very long story short, my car was involved in a fire while it was in the mechanic’s shop (minding its own business getting a tune-up!!) on Jan 20th & I’ve had to take on a full time job fighting with a lot of incompetent insurance folks ever since, just to determine the fate of my car (which was stuck up on the mechanic’s lift with no wheels when the fire started on the ground below). Because the fire was raging & had plenty of fuel around it, the firemen had to shut off the electricity to the building while fighting the fire, so my car’s been stuck up there on the lift until late last Fri, Jan 3oth, when it was finally towed late in the day to my insurance’s mechanic/body shop). So, because I’ve been just trying to get people to actually do the jobs they should have been doing, I’ve been tied up, not to mention stressed out, which is making me truthfully physically sick!!! And since Jan 20th, I’ve been ...
