The new Tim Holtz Seasonal Summer 2012 Distress Inks were announced by Ranger today.  My orders for all the Summer colors have already been placed (for both the Ink Pad Sets, as well as each of the three new Summer 2012 re-inkers!).  I expect that the ink pads will ship out to me within the next few days (if they haven’t already!) and the re-inkers should be shipping to me by the end of next week at the latest. The three new Summer colors are absolutely gorgeous.  They are: Picked Raspberry (it’s sort of a hot pink, which you know I LOVE!) , Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean (which is my very favorite of course, being that I am a beach girl, LOL!!!) Well, we’re on our way right now to watch our youngest son, Shawn, walk across the stage to get his college diploma.  We are extremely proud of Shawn, as he has worked very hard to accomplish this goal. This is now #2 of 2 of our sons who are now college grads.  It makes me think that we must be doing something right, LOL!! And although we are extremely proud of Shawn and his older brother, Matthew for both graduating from college, as a parent, this day is a little bittersweet, because we’ve raised them and I feel as if it was our job to get them to this point, but now that our “baby”is graduating from college, I’m not quite sure what my “mom” job is now!  We have a busy early summer this year, starting with Shawn’s College Graduation and then in just over a month from now, our oldest son, Matthew is getting married. WHEW!!!

I finally have a new puppy, thanks to a surprise visit from my only sibling, sister Gail.  She gave me that extra push I needed to find the right one, and then she made all the arrangements for me to get the puppy. She is a "Shihchon", which is half Bichon Frise and half Shihtzu. They're called the Teddy Bear dog because they look like a little stuffed animal Teddy Bear!!  She weighs 3 pounds! She's sooo cute it's ridiculous, she's unbelievably smart and she's a serious lover and snuggle bunny.  Oh, and she hops like a bunny--it's hilarious!!  She's non-allergenic, so she can be around anyone who normally has allergies to dogs!!  She has no name yet because we're waiting for my husband, Moe to name her, because he has named all of our dogs!! I am totally in love with her and she is already healing my broken heart from when I lost my last dog, Gucci.
